Chhattisgarh is a state in Central India. It is the 10th largest state in India, with an area of 135,190 km². With a population of 25.5 million, Chhattisgarh is the 16th most-populated state of the nation.
Chhattisgarh state has 27 districts. Major cities are Raipur, Bhilai, Durg, Bilaspur, Raigarh, Korba, Ambikapur, Rajnandgaon, Jagdalpur and Chirmiri.
The major exports products include steel, handicrafts, handlooms, blended yarn, food and agri-products, iron, aluminium, cement, minerals and engineering products.
The state is full of ancient monuments, rare wildlife, exquisitely carved temples, Buddhist sites, palaces, water falls, caves, rock paintings and hill plateaus.
